I'm Diandian (Chloe) Wu. Tech sourcing and commercial strategy consultant, AI practitioner and keynote speaker. Based in Gippsland, Victoria. Working across Australia and APAC.
I didn't start in IT. I started in financial services, as a client relationship manager who spent too many hours calling clients to book their annual reviews. I got fed up with it and built a self-service booking website so clients could do it themselves. Leadership bought in. I scaled it into a system serving over 14,000 customers a year, under budget and ahead of schedule. The person closest to the problem usually has the best answer. They just need the structure and confidence to act on it.
Today I'm a Consulting Manager at ISG, a global AI-centred technology research and advisory firm. My background spans IT procurement, vendor negotiation, business case development and commercial strategy across financial services, banking, insurance, government and retail clients in Australia and APAC. I have a particular interest in how AI is reshaping the commercial and procurement landscape. I'm actively building in this space, testing tools and sharing what I learn in plain language.
Multimillion-dollar IT procurement decisions across software, hardware, cloud, managed services and talent for banks, insurers, government agencies and large retailers. I build the business case, run the process, negotiate the contract and make the decision hold up.
Keynote speaker at ISG's Paragon event in 2023, to a standing ovation. Industry conferences, workshops, career panels. I go in with stories, not jargon. The goal is for people to leave thinking differently.
AI is changing how organisations buy, decide and operate. I build projects, test tools and share what I find in plain language for procurement and commercial professionals navigating this in real time.
I've spoken at industry conferences, executive forums, university events and community gatherings. Keynote presentations, workshop facilitation, panel moderation. The format changes. The approach does not: earn the room's trust, then make a point they will still be thinking about on the way home.
I speak at industry conferences, leadership forums, university events and community gatherings. The core ideas stay the same. The stories shift to fit the room. If you have a stage in mind, get in touch.
Get in touch to bookWu Digital is a community-focused technology practice built by my husband Kieran and me. Kieran engineers the systems. I bring the commercial strategy and the ability to translate between what technology can do and what a real organisation on the ground actually needs. We live in Gippsland, Victoria with our 1-year-old son and our 3-year-old dog. This is our home, not a market.
We work with councils, community organisations and small businesses in regional Victoria who want to use technology more effectively. If you recognise your organisation in any of what we've described, we'd love to hear from you. We're not a big firm and we don't want to be. Drop your details and we'll call you back for a quick chat.
No spam. No automated emails. Just a real conversation when the time is right.
Writing about what I'm actually experiencing. AI, technology, building things in regional communities. No hype.
A keynote speech delivered at the ANZ Paragon 2023 Awards. On the two types of diversity — the kind you can see, and the kind you can't — and why diversity should be the ice breaker, not the uncomfortable topic we avoid.
March 2023On the 9th of April, 2021, my role was made redundant. Two months later I had my dream offer. Three strategies that carried me through — shared to help others facing the same challenge.
June 2021What six months of serious AI use actually taught me about where it saves time, where it creates new work and why judgement fatigue is the conversation the industry is still avoiding.
