Version control turned out to be non-negotiable — git became essential for rolling back fast AI-assisted iteration. Planning before executing, using plan mode before every change, saves more time than it costs. But the bigger shift was personal: I had wanted to build this site for years and kept putting it off. AI finally made it possible to stop waiting and start. Who doesn't love that.
