We live in Gippsland. This is our home, not a market. Every project here was built for people we know and care about.
East Gippsland communities · Sponsored by East Gippsland Shire Council
Both organisations needed a professional digital presence to connect with their communities and reach new volunteers and supporters — with no technical staff to build or maintain it.
Designed and built public-facing websites for two East Gippsland community organisations, each reflecting the character and purpose of the people behind it.
A community organisation in East Gippsland united under the motto "Standing Stronger Together." The site covers the annual Sarsfield Festival, community hall, volunteering opportunities, and local events.
A community-led recovery organisation formed after the 2019–20 Black Summer bushfires, which destroyed 123 homes and burned 83% of the Mallacoota district. MADRA coordinates recovery efforts, channels funding, and advocates on behalf of eight local communities.
Both clients are happy and the relationship is ongoing. The organisations now have professional online presences that reflect who they are and what they stand for.
Community association · Gippsland, Victoria
Event recording and hall booking were managed manually — phone calls, paper forms, and a physical calendar with no central oversight.
A digital event booking system was proposed to replace the manual process and allow community members to check availability and submit bookings online. Before proceeding to build, a return on investment analysis was conducted. The analysis showed that the costs of implementing and maintaining the system would outweigh the benefit for an organisation of this size and booking volume. The recommendation was not to go live.
The community association didn't invest in a solution they didn't need. Sometimes the right answer is not to build. The ROI analysis saved time and money, and the relationship remained strong.

The association's financial information was not easily accessible or understandable to the wider community. Funds, projects, and spending were difficult to follow — members had no clear way to see where money was going or what it was funding.
Transformed the financial reporting process by building an interactive dashboard based on the association's existing Excel data. Community members and the committee can now drill down into the numbers — seeing which projects are funded, how much is allocated to each category, and how spending tracks year on year. The process shift moved financial management from one person's spreadsheet to something the whole community can understand and trust.
Community members now have clear visibility into where funding goes and what projects it supports. The association's financial management is easier, more transparent, and better understood by the people it serves.
Community hall · Gippsland, Victoria
The hall hosts festivals, weddings, and community events but has no reliable or secure wireless network. Event organisers and vendors have to use their own mobile data, and some events simply can't run the tech they need.
Designing a secure, event-grade WiFi solution for the community hall. The system needs to handle peak event loads, support vendor payment terminals, provide guest access, and remain manageable by volunteer committee members with no technical background. Currently in the design phase with installation planned for later this year.
Events can run payment systems, digital signage, and streaming reliably. The hall becomes more attractive to event organisers who currently go elsewhere.
